Akoin, a blockchain endeavor for the social impact of Akon has made a partnership with the SDG Impact Fund in order to introduce the Akoin Foundation.
The partnership which was announced by Owltmarket on June 3 will not only introduce the foundation, but the partnership will also introduce a “Token of Appreciation” (TOA) campaign.
The foundation will work in cryptocurrency area firstly. Initial donors will be provided with a literal cryptocurrency called Token of Appreciation (TOA). It is said to be a way for saying “thank you” to those people who have a belief in the foundation’s missional purpose. Regenerative endeavors will be supported in Africa and entrepreneurial empowerment will be focused on from blockchain technology, financial and business tools to healthcare, education, renewable energy, and governance.
Both the foundation and the SDG Impact Fund expand its mission. They also expand social impact results more. An opportunity will be opened up for donors at a rapid pace. The opportunity will not only be opened up for the donors, but the opportunity will also be opened up for other leaders. This new platform can be used for obtaining the 17 SDGs in 53 countries across Africa continent.

He was on the 5th position in 40 Most Powerful Celebrities in Africa list in the year 2011. He was also on the sixth position on the Top Digital Songs Artists list of the decade, according to Wikipedia.
